12-month cost · not a monthly headline

What You Actually Pay Over a Year

9 of 20 online TRT clinics we track publish enough for us to calculate a real 12-month cost with no material caveat. 2 more produce a real number too, but with something specific flagged — 11 of 20in total. The rest either don't publish a verified price, or a required cost component — usually medication itself — is never itemized. We show which is which, and why, below.

Assumptions: No dose escalation modeled — figures assume the starting dose/protocol holds for the full 12 months. No promotional pricing beyond what's already the verified, stable rate on file (an explicitly rising promotional rate with no confirmed post-intro number is treated as blocked, not estimated). No insurance factored in — cash-pay price as advertised. Where a provider names a one-time fee or a documented multi-stage rate (e.g. a real, dated month-1 promo followed by a real, dated ongoing rate), both figures are used explicitly rather than averaged or ignored.

Clean — the number holds (9)

Every dollar figure needed is known and verified. No material caveat.

Optional HCG add-on is billed separately and its cost isn't published — not required for baseline TRT, so it doesn't block this total, but it's a real cost some patients will add.

Computed, with a caveat (2)

A real number, but something specific is flagged as excluded or unconfirmed — never silently treated as zero.

Peter MD$1,188/yr
Month 1: $99Month 6: $594Month 12: $1,188
  • Monthly rate (all-inclusive): $99/mo

Caveat: A secondhand, unverified report (via old Trustpilot review snippets — Peter MD's own Trustpilot profile has since been removed) describes being charged $144 instead of the advertised $99, told afterward $99 was an introductory rate. We could not independently confirm this through the actual signup flow. The total above uses the advertised $99 — it may understate what you're actually billed.

Month 1: $228Month 6: $873Month 12: $1,647
  • One-time evaluation fee: $99 (one-time)
  • Monthly rate: $129/mo

Caveat: Labs are explicitly excluded from the membership fee on Vita Bella's own pricing page and not itemized separately — a real recurring cost this total doesn't capture. Also requires a 3-month minimum commitment.

Cannot be calculated (9)

“Price not verified” and “price on consultation” and “refuses a fixed quote” are three different facts — only one of them is the provider choosing not to publish a number at all.

Hone HealthMembership fee known ($155/mo); medication is billed separately and never itemized.
Male ExcelMembership fee known ($99/mo); medication is billed separately and never itemized.
Keeps TRTNo monthly price published — only a $49 evaluation fee is disclosed.
Defy MedicalNo price published — consult-only.
NRG ClinicNo price published — consult-only.
Marek HealthPrice unverified — we could not re-confirm it live.
HimsPrice unverified — we could not re-confirm it live.
AgelessPrice unverified — we could not re-confirm it live.
Viking Alternative MedicineRefuses a fixed quote without an individual evaluation — its own pricing page states this explicitly, not a number we can compute against.

Every figure on this page is generated from data/providers.ts at build time — nothing here is estimated or hand-typed per clinic. For per-provider price history and our full price-classification methodology, see price transparency. For the underlying scoring rubric, see editorial policy.
