Affiliate Disclosure
Scores are based on evidence. At equal displayed scores, active affiliate partners are listed first. Every clinic has a distinct, consecutive rank.
Some links on TRT Picks are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up with a clinic, we may earn a commission. At no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the site's research.
In line with FTC guidelines, we disclose this clearly. Scores are determined solely by our published methodology and documented evidence. Affiliate commissions do not, and never will, influence a clinic's score. Active affiliate partners are listed first at equal displayed scores.
One placement on this site is commercial, and we will not pretend otherwise. The Featured partners section at the top of the home page lists clinics we have an affiliate relationship with, ordered by our score, highest first, with the same eligibility rules as the Partner offer block described below. It is labelled as commercial where it appears, and every card in it shows the clinic's real score and its real rank in the full table, which is ordered by unrounded score, with active partners first at equal scores.
A second commercial placement: Partner offer. On the review page of a clinic we have no affiliate relationship with, a block labelled “Partner offer: commercial placement” appears after that page has answered its own question, never before or inside the answer. It shows up to two partner clinics. To be eligible a partner must have an active programme, a price we have verified, no FDA warning letter or regulatory action on file. Where a partner does not serve every state, its card lists the states it excludes. Partner placements are ordered by our score, highest first: the same score that ranks every clinic in our table, so the order changes when the scores do. Commissions never set a clinic's score or its place in this order. We have also chosen not to show DudeMeds or MangoRx in any of these placements; their own reviews keep their own link. It is never part of our ranking or our price comparisons, and the editorial blocks on the same page keep their own order.
The same Partner offer block appears on our articles. On every blog article it comes after the article itself, never above or inside it, and shows up to three partner clinics, with the same eligibility rules and the same order. When an article is about one of those clinics, that clinic is left out of the block on that article and the next eligible partner takes its place. The articles themselves are written and updated on the same editorial basis as before; the block does not change what they say. On a phone, the bar at the bottom of the screen shows the eligible partner with the highest score, except on the review of a partner clinic, where it shows that clinic. Two exceptions, chosen by us: a page about Male Excel, Maximus, Taurus Meds or Peter MD (its review, its “is it legit” page, or an article about that clinic alone) shows only that clinic's own button, with no Partner offer block and no bar promoting another clinic; and a page about Hone Health or DudeMeds keeps that clinic's own button, has no Partner offer block, and its bar shows the eligible partner with the highest score. On an article or “is it legit” page about any other clinic, the bar shows the highest-scored eligible partner other than that clinic. On a comparison of two clinics, the bar shows the clinic the comparison favours when that clinic is an eligible partner, and otherwise the eligible partner with the highest score.
A small recommendation, at most once per visit. When you have read a large part of a review or article and are about to leave (on a computer, when the pointer moves to the top of the window; on a phone, when you reach the end of the page), a small box may name one partner clinic. It is chosen by our score alone, among eligible partners that offer the treatment the page is about, and it appears only when that partner scores higher than the clinic the page covers; the box shows both scores. It carries the line “Partner link”, closes with one tap or the Escape key, never covers the whole screen, and replaces the bar at the bottom while it is open. On the review of a partner clinic it can appear only on a computer, never on a phone. Some visits never see it, so we can measure whether it helps.
Where a clinic has no affiliate relationship with us, we still review and rank it on the same basis. We simply won't earn a commission from it.
