Male Excel leads with a daily microdosing testosterone cream, a needle-free option; it also prescribes injections. Cream is an established transdermal delivery route, not an experimental one. Applied per the prescriber's protocol to a high-absorption site, it reduces (but doesn't eliminate) the skin-transfer risk associated with shoulder-applied gels like AndroGel; letting it dry and washing hands afterward are standard precautions. It also requires daily discipline. Men who'd rather 'set and forget' with a weekly shot may prefer an injectable clinic instead.

Correction
Correction, 19 September 2026: until today we listed Male Excel as restricted in seven states and available in "44 of 51". Male Excel's own FAQ says it prescribes "in all states except Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island". Eleven states, not seven. We were missing Alabama, Alaska, Minnesota and Mississippi, and our state pages for those four named Male Excel as a clinic that serves them. The list is corrected to eleven and coverage to 40 of 51. We had never recorded where our list came from or when it was read; that is now a required field.

Is Male Excel legit?
Male Excel is a U.S. telehealth clinic operated by Male Excel Medical, P.A. in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its chief medical officer, Peter Fotinos, MD, has an NPI we matched in the federal registry. When we read its BBB profile on 30 August 2026 it was rated A+ and accredited, with 37 complaints over three years and none left unanswered. Neither of its two named compounding pharmacies had an FDA warning letter when we checked that day. Has Male Excel been sued?
Yes. Two cases brought by patients are on record. In Henry County, Indiana, a former patient filed a negligence suit on 8 July 2025 (case 33C02-2507-CT-000035). According to the complaint summary published by the court-records service Trellis, he alleges that a nurse practitioner prescribed testosterone before reviewing labs that showed a significantly elevated PSA, that he learned of the result at his second appointment, and that he was later diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer. We could not read the Indiana docket itself, so we do not know that case's current status. In California, a privacy class action (Doe v. Male Excel Inc., filed 5 May 2026, now case 3:26-cv-06191 in federal court in San Francisco) is pending: the court describes it as an internet privacy case, and on 2 October 2026 it ordered Male Excel to show why the case should not go back to state court. Both are allegations, not findings. Male Excel has also been a party to business disputes in North Carolina and Colorado that do not involve patients. We found no FTC, state attorney general or FDA action against it. Court records read 11 October 2026.
