Hims TRT Alternatives
By Alexandru Vieru · Founder & Editor · Prices checked as late as Nov 4, 2026 · Not medical advice
The main Hims TRT alternatives are Male Excel, Hone Health, Peter MD and Taurus Meds: partner clinics that prescribe testosterone itself, not only enclomiphene, each with a published price. Hims offers oral enclomiphene only, at $99/mo (10 months, paid upfront and in full) (hims.com, checked Oct 14, 2026), and it publishes no month-to-month rate.
The clinics suggested on this page are affiliate partners: we may earn a commission if you sign up through their links, and each button is labelled. A commission never changes a score. The cards are ordered by our score. Clinics we have no affiliate relationship with are not suggested here, even where they score well; the full ranking, the only place we number clinics, lists the 25 we select from the 40 we track. See our affiliate disclosure.
Where Hims is strong
Hims is a large, publicly traded telehealth company, so it is a known name with a public record. If enclomiphene is what you want and you are happy to pay for a long plan up front, its published rate is $99/mo (10 months, paid upfront and in full) (hims.com, checked Oct 14, 2026).
Why people look for an alternative
No testosterone, only enclomiphene. The only form Hims lists for low testosterone is oral enclomiphene, and its own page says it does not currently offer TRT injections (hims.com, checked Oct 14, 2026).
The published price needs a 10-month plan paid up front. Hims prices one plan, $99/mo (10 months, paid upfront and in full) (hims.com, checked Oct 14, 2026). It also lists 3- and 5-month plans without a price, and no month-to-month rate. These are Hims's site-wide subscription terms: cancel at least two days before the renewal date; partly used periods are not refunded. (hims.com, checked Oct 14, 2026)
No insurance. Its terms say Hims and its medical groups do not take part in Medicare, Medicaid or commercial insurance (hims.com, checked Oct 16, 2026).
Open regulatory issues.FDA sent Hims & Hers Health, Inc. warning letters in September 2025 over how it marketed compounded GLP-1 drugs, and the FTC, joined by California and Utah, sued it in July 2026 over how it shared health data and how it bills and handles cancellations. Neither is about its TRT program, but both concern the same company; details and sources are on its review.
Full detail, with every source, is in our Hims review.

Stay with Hims if enclomiphene is the treatment you and your clinician want, you already use Hims for something else, and you are comfortable paying for a 10-month plan up front.
How we chose these clinics
We started from the problems readers raise about Hims and picked active partner clinics that answer one of them, with a published, checked price. Each card shows our score from the same rubric we use for every clinic, partner or not; see our editorial policy for how scores are calculated. Prices change, so confirm the total at checkout.
