Publicly traded telehealth company (NASDAQ: LFMD) whose men's program prescribes FDA-approved testosterone (cypionate injections, 1.62% gel or the XYOSTED autoinjector) after required labs, with follow-up labs at 3 and every 6 months. How much does LifeMD cost?

LifeMD does not publish a price before intake. The real cost depends on what you're prescribed.

LifeMD publishes no price for testosterone therapy. Its TRT page lists what the Men's Health Program includes and says "Medication cost is separate", with no figure; its membership page lists Men's Health care "Starting at $79 initial consult" and the LifeMD+ membership at $19 a month. Read twice on 14 October 2026. We leave its pricing unscored rather than score a figure LifeMD does not publish.

Commitment
No minimum term stated for Men's Health. LifeMD+ is a monthly membership that renews until cancelled; LifeMD's terms say specialty subscriptions can recur every one, three, six or twelve months. LifeMD is a monthly subscription program. Your credit card will be charged $19 at the beginning of each billing cycle, and the subscription will automatically renew unless you choose to cancel. (lifemd.com, read Oct 14, 2026)
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from the patient portal; service continues to the end of the paid term and there is no prorated refund for it. Prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded. If you cancel your Subscription or Membership before your term expires, you may continue to use the services until the end of your then-current Subscription or Membership term ... You will not, however, be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the Subscription or Membership fee paid for the then-current membership period. (lifemd.com, read Oct 14, 2026)

Is LifeMD legit?

How we checked it for this review.

LifeMD, Inc. is listed on NASDAQ (LFMD) and files with the SEC; its BBB profile (LifeMD, Inc., Telemedicine, New York, NY) shows an A rating and accreditation since 2022 alongside 850 complaints, of which BBB says it publishes 1 in 5 because of their volume, and its claimed Trustpilot profile (paid subscription) reads 3.9 from 4,274 reviews (both read 14 October 2026). Care is provided by an affiliated medical group of U.S. state-licensed providers, per its FAQ. FDA's warning-letter database returned no letter for "LifeMD" on 14 October 2026.

Watch out for

No price for testosterone therapy is published: the TRT page says "Medication cost is separate" without a figure, and the only public prices are a $79 initial consult and the $19 a month LifeMD+ membership. The TRT page says "Available In 37 States" but publishes no list. Refunds: no prorated refund for the current term after cancelling, and prescription medications cannot be returned. BBB lists 850 complaints across LifeMD's services, and its Trustpilot reviews include complaints about cancelling. LifeMD's investor lawsuits (a securities class action, Johnston v. LifeMD, Inc., S.D.N.Y., and four derivative suits, per its 10-Q filed 5 August 2026) concern statements to shareholders, not patient care.

“Testosterone deficiency doesn't kill people as far as we know but it is really an important symptomatic condition that affects quality of life.”

How LifeMD works

  1. 1. Online intake. Complete a medical questionnaire about your symptoms and health history.
  2. 2. Bloodwork. Because testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance, you'll do lab testing (at-home kit or a local lab). Never a questionnaire-only prescription.
  3. 3. Clinician review & delivery. A licensed clinician reviews your labs and, if appropriate, prescribes treatment shipped discreetly to your door, with ongoing monitoring.
